Creating Safe, Vibrant Homes

Immanuel is proud to have a tradition of caring for seniors that dates back sixty years. But this long history means that some of our buildings, especially the original Lutheran Home, are starting to show their age. To make sure our residents have a safe and comfortable place to live, we need to update our infrastructure. Also, ideas about best practices for long-term care have changed quite a bit over the decades, and we want our buildings to reflect the highest standards of resident care. All Immanuel residents receive high-quality care regardless of their ability to pay, and your donations help make that possible.

Many Immanuel residents have spent lifetimes enjoying the outdoors, and it’s important to us that they be able to access safe, beautiful outdoor spaces as much as they want to and as their conditions allow. The Retreat (formerly known as the Skilled Care Center) features two enclosed courtyards, accessible from the dining room, but they are showing their sixty-year age.

With your help, we plan to renovate these courtyards into two distinct spaces, one for quiet contemplation in a natural setting and once for active pursuits such as gardening in raised, wheelchair-accessible beds. Your donations will help Immanuel’s seniors continue their favorite outdoor pursuits even after they’ve moved in to a skilled nursing community.

At the Immanuel Foundation, we believe that every senior living in Montana has the right to a safe, secure home in an engaging and supportive community. We work every day to make that vision a reality and your financial support is crucial. 60% of our Skilled Care residents are low income, Medicaid qualified. Immanuel Foundation raises funds to support these seniors in need.
