A Charitable Giving Campaign August 11 To September 11, 2026
We’re proud to announce that we’ve been selected to participate in the Great Fish Community Challenge once again!
This community-wide fundraising campaign, hosted annually by the Whitefish Community Foundation, brings together 89 nonprofits from across the valley.
This year, our goal was to raise $60,000 before the match and we knocked it out of the park! Thank you for helping us to raise $98,752 so far. These critical donations help us to fulfill our mission of creating vibrant, enriching lives for our residents. Thank you all so much for your contributions. Join us at the October 22 Great Fish Awards Ceremony at the Wachholz College Center at 5:00 to find out the matching funds for nonprofits will be.
In past years, funds from the Great Fish Community Challenge have allowed us to make significant upgrades to resident rooms in The Retreat, improve shared community spaces, and support programs that enrich the lives of our older adults. This year, donations help us complete additional in-room upgrades, continue enhancing programs for residents, and expand Immanuel Living’s Connection Program, which helps connect our residents with life and community events in the Flathead Valley.

Funds raised will directly support upgrades to private rooms at The Retreat, where many residents have outlived their financial resources and now rely on Medicaid. Since Medicaid doesn’t cover the full cost of care, the Immanuel Foundation steps in to bridge the gap, ensuring safe, vibrant homes for older adults of all income levels.
